Benny Liu drives digital transformation across the construction industry through Building Information Modelling (BIM). He oversees BIM delivery, cross-disciplinary coordination, and professional capability development for projects in both public and private sectors, with specialised expertise covering 3D to 5D BIM implementation, quality assurance, research and development, laser scanning, drone technology, DWSS, and digital twins.

A Chartered Construction Manager and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), he also holds the professional credentials of CCBM and CCBC. He currently serves as a Board Member and Vice‑Chairman of the Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling (HKIBIM) for the term 2025–2027.

Committed to advancing industry standards and talent development, he delivers HKCIC BIM courses and supports professional accreditation programmes. His contributions have been widely recognised, including the Construction Innovator Award in 2014 and BIMer of the Year in 2022, both conferred by the Hong Kong Construction Industry Council (HKCIC).
