A journal paper published in Buildings entitled “Improving Energy Efficiency in Hotels through Evolutionary Digital Twin Technology” of the JLFC project “Autonomous Twin for Hotel Energy Optimisation”, co-authored by Dr Rosana Wong and Professor Becky Loo, has won a Silver Award in the Construction Industry Council (CIC) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Award 2026 under the category of AI Adoption (Research – Total Lifecycle Management). The paper demonstrates how digital twins and machine learning enable smart, energy-efficient building management. The Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 24^th June, 2026.
